How many sessions will I need?

Most clients begin with a course of 6 sessions—this is the sweet spot for visible, long-lasting results. That said, it really depends on: - Your current body composition - How close you are to your goals - Your lifestyle (movement, hydration, nutrition) - Whether you’re postpartum, post-op, or preparing for an event. Some clients reach their goals after one course, while others choose to continue with a second or third round to maintain or further enhance their shape.

Do the treatments hurt?

Not at all. At Cleanse and Shape, we don’t believe in “no pain, no gain.” Our treatments are designed to be gentle, effective, and even enjoyable. Most clients find the sessions deeply relaxing—and some even choose to nap during their treatment.

How soon will I see results?

You will feel less bloated and lighter after just one! With visible changes after just 1–2 sessions, especially when combined with lifestyle support. However, more dramatic or lasting results typically appear after 4–6 sessions. Your lymphatic system, hydration, and consistency play a huge role in how quickly your body responds.

How long do results last?

Results can last several months to years, depending on how you maintain them. Results continue developing for 5-6 months post treatment. If you're supporting your body with movement, good nutrition, and hydration, your results will likely be more sustainable.  Many clients return for seasonal maintenance sessions or before special events to keep their shape feeling defined.

Is there any downtime?

No downtime required. You can return to your normal day right after your treatment. You may feel a little flushed or light due to circulation and lymphatic activation, but that usually passes quickly.

What areas can you treat?

Is body contouring safe?

Yes—all of our technologies are non-invasive and TGA-listed, and our protocols are backed by evidence and tailored with care. Your comfort, safety, and results are always our top priorities.

Can I get body contouring postpartum?

Absolutely. In fact, we specialise in postpartum body sculpting and lymphatic recovery. We recommend starting once you've had clearance from your GP or women's health physio, especially if you've had a C-section. This clearance usually comes 6 weeks post partum. We also offer tailored 8-week postpartum programs designed to reconnect you with your body gently and effectively.

Can I combine treatments in one session?

Yes! Many of our treatments are designed to layer modalities for even more effective results (e.g. EMS muscle sculpting + radio frequency tightening + lymphatic massage). We’ll guide you through the best combinations for your goals during your consultation.

What’s included in a consultation?

Every session starts with a check-in and visual assessment, so we can track your progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed. During your first visit, we’ll have an in-depth discussion about:

  • What you're currently feeling in your body

  • Your specific goals—both physical and emotional
